Many voices, one message

If there’s one thing Hoosiers want you to know, it’s that you are welcome here. After IU President Michael A. McRobbie responded to an executive order that bars travel for refugees from seven majority-Muslim countries, the Office of International Services collected videos of Hoosiers reaffirming the message that IU stands together.

Lending a hand

Last year, IU student Mercedes Jones realized the need for a food pantry on campus and made her vision a reality with the opening of the Crimson Cupboard. Since her graduation, students like Erika Wheeler have stepped up and expanded the pantry to further address the issue of food insecurity both on campus and in the community.

Hoosiers get a taste of Hollywood

It’s not every day you get to watch a legendary film with its producer. IU students got this opportunity last month when Batman producer Michael Uslan hosted a screening at The Media School. Uslan is a professor of practice at the school and is teaching two courses this spring.
